These same 64% of Americans also said they are only willing to spend around $3,400 on these improvements. Last year 62% of Americans said they would spent about $6,200 on improvements. The percent as well as the amount have changed drastically in the past year. Homeowners, choose wisley before you decide to do a major project!

Pool: A pool is a home improvement that many families want to consider as it gets warmer outside. If you do not have the money for an inground pool then try for an above ground. Also make sure you realize how much it can be to maintain a pool. A pool is a great addition to the house if it is the right home improvement choice for you!

Deck: It is very worth while to add a deck if your home does not have one! Without a deck, it makes the house seem less kid-friendly and comforting. Do not forget that there are many different types/styles of decks. Choose what you can afford, any kind of deck is worth while!

Patio: A patio can change the way people view your home and backyard. It can spice up your house and make room for company. Patio's are cheap and will fit in most people price range.

Outdoor Kitchen: This depends soley on where you live and what kind of weather climate your city/town has. This is also not neccsary if you do not have the money to do so since you already do have a kitchen in the house.

Gazebo: This type of space can give you extra room to get away, to have company, to read a book, or just to simply add something new to a dull backyard!
