Events in Wilmington, NC for November thru December 2008
These are just a few events going on here in Wilmington!
November the 15th- NC Holliday Flotilla 5k run and loop! This is the 25th year for the Flotilla so come out and celebrate! The 5k course takes you down the John Nesbitt Loop includoing a walk down N. Channel Drive and back. The fun loop part is at the Wrightsville Beach Loop. This will all start at 9:00 am but registration will began at 7:30 am. December the 7th- 6th Annual Wilmington NC Holliday Parade at 5:10 pm. It will began on N. Front and Walnut.
November 24th thru December 2nd- Festival of Trees. Mon-Fri 9:00am-9:00pm and Sat and Sun 10:30am-6:30 pm. It is at the Coastline Convention Center, 501 Nutt Street. For my information please go to hospiceandlifecarecenter.org/festival_trees.asp. or call at 910-7725444.
December 6th thru 9th- The Thailan Hall Assocation presents "A Christmas Story". It will be at 8:00 pm on December 6th thru the 8th and 3:00 pm on December the 9th. It is located at 310 Chestnut Street. For more details: 910-343-3664
December 4th- The lighting of the world's largest living Christmas Tree. It is the 79th Annual lighting of this tree. Santa will also arrive at this event. Location is Hilton Park, 407 Hilton Street. For more information please contact Tammy Skinner at 910-341-4602.
December 10th- Breakfast with Santa. Parents and their children may have breakfast in the food court at the mall while Santa greets them and children may also ride the carousel. Tickets are just $5 and are being sold at the Dilard's wing. The breakfast will be from Chik Fil A. Call 910-3920-1776 for more information.
